Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 18, 2026
This policy applies to findtime.io integrations and clients, including Slack, Discord, Telegram, and the Chrome extension.
1. Data Collection
findtime.io services may collect and store:
- Platform workspace/server identifiers (for installation and analytics context)
- Platform-scoped bot access tokens (required for bot functionality)
- Installer identifiers where provided by the platform
- Usage telemetry such as route, status, timestamp, and coarse technical metadata (for reliability and product analytics)
- For the Chrome extension, an anonymous install identifier generated by the extension
- For the Chrome extension, limited local storage such as the user's most recent popup query and temporary cached meeting-ranking state
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
We do NOT collect, store, or process:
- Private message history beyond what is necessary to process a command
- User personal information
- Full channel or conversation archives
- Browsing history from the Chrome extension
- Full webpage contents or page archives from the Chrome extension
- Any data beyond what's necessary for bot or extension functionality
3. How We Use Data
Collected data is used solely to:
- Respond to user commands and queries
- Perform timezone conversions and meeting planning
- Maintain integration functionality across supported platforms
- Measure aggregate usage (for service quality and reporting)
4. Chrome Extension Specific Notes
The Chrome extension may transmit limited user-provided text to findtime.io services when necessary to fulfill the requested feature. This can include popup query text or selected text from a webpage when the user asks the extension to parse, convert, resolve, or plan a time-related request.
- Extension analytics are designed to avoid raw query text in telemetry payloads
- Telemetry may include anonymous install ID, event name, app version, browser family, operating system, coarse country code, and coarse timezone region
- We do not sell user data or use it for advertising purposes
- We do not use or transfer user data for creditworthiness or lending decisions
5. Data Retention
Installation data is retained while an integration remains installed. We may retain aggregate telemetry and operational records for analytics, fraud prevention, and reliability.
6. Third-Party Services
The Service may use third-party AI providers (such as Google Gemini) for meeting planning. Query text (for example city names and planning intent) may be sent for processing.
7. Security
All data is stored securely with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access tokens are never logged or exposed.
